This is a full time permanent position based in a busy call centre environment in Accrington. Working for a UK leading Travel company, you will be handling inbound calls from existing customers, dealing with a range of queries, handling administration and relevant correspondence.
It is absolutely essential that applicants have got a minimum of 12 months recent and solid customer service, which has been gained by working within the travel industry.
A working knowledge of systems such as Amadeus, Worldspan or Galileo is also essential.
Applicants will also need to be flexible to work shift patterns between 8am - 10pm, Monday - Sunday, including 1 in 3 weekends.
Full time and part time hours are available. A minimum of 20 hours are required for the part time role, which will be mainly evenings and weekends.
The following skills are essential:
• 12 months minimum customer service experience gained within the Travel Industry
• Professional and friendly telephone manner
• Working system knowledge of Amadeus, Worldspan or Galileo
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good basic geography skills and geographic knowledge
• Experience of working to tight deadlines and timescales
• Ability to work well as part of a team
